Might be a bit hot this time of year on consideration. But for an easily accessible climbing destination it can't be beaten.

So here I am, searching all the threads, looking for one that I can post on, just to get my amended signature out,

but could not find a single one that I feel strongly about, so I am reduced to having to start my own thread..

Going on Holiday, was gonna do Kili, but am out of time getting vaccinations (doh, advance planning!),

so I need plan B...

What an intriguing Thread..It's tempting to suggest a favourite destination/activity of one's own. In my experience having taken similar holidays/breaks on the basis of a reccomendation, I have been disappointed by most of them.
Might I suggest however a short trip to heaven and back....I would be thrilled, indeed honoured , to be your personal guide !!. No fee required, in fact I would provide some spending money for you.....a little light relief before you go?.

Sorry for the slow reply..

Hm. When I do a quick getaway, I usually opt for the 5star Resort/Spa destinations to pamper myself..

However, now I will be taking a longer Vacation (2weeks-ish), and poolside etc. is just not enough.

I need some intellectual stimulation, physical challenge to keep me sufficiently entertained, occupied..

So, Andalusia horse-trek sounds intriguing, Malaga rockclimbing may be a bit hot (as per Dave), Pyrenees trek..?

I am totally bummed about Kili, but now have all necessary info, flights etc. for a later date..

Very unlike me, but I will probably make last minute decision next Monday re destination,

so until then ALL ideas are very welcome and appreciated..
