Is it possible that this thread will stay open? If so, could we please talk about why such severe moderation/editing was required today? Could we also discuss a way forward? It seems that certain subjects have been raised, in the absence of ability to discuss these matters management may see fit to make a statement? As it is Stasi rule is slightly unproductive and if I may say, slightly alienating.

At 1pm today it was still all civilized, many people expressing dismay at recent banning..

There's no point creating threads like these, cut them off at the pass is the general plan of attack by mods before anything happens or is possibly said, we ain't waiting to see..

Only a question the mods can answer. It does appear a bit heavy handed at the moment and is killing off the forum. Nothing wrong with a bit of lively debate amongst concenting adults.

Erm. I created the thread. Before you piss all over it wait and see. I often find plain honesty works best.
