Sometimes catfights flare up between the girls on the boards, and they escalate into total war. Also, some girls have grudges against each other and carry their personal animosities onto the boards. Well I do believe you are in the minority. How the hell should a lady know that you have issues with her thanking you for your review.
In my view a text after an appointment is different to a comment left on a review. If I text you to say thanks after an appointment it is to thank you for a nice time. If I comment on a review it is to thank you for your kind words and for bothering to write a review.
It may seem like ego stroking but who says it is? Who says it isn't just a lady showing a small glimpse of her personality to the clients that don't read the boards but do read review.
If a "Thank you for your review x" comment bothers you that much you are seriously sensitive.
That is just my view.
