I was told recently by a lovely lady that she regards 30min appointments as a "test drive".
For ladies not using the boards generally book first a 30min appt. If we click then book a longer appt for subsequent meetings.
Ladies who do use the boards and you feel you will get on with them would book an hour straight off.

I was in London on tour and I had a guy book me for 30mins. My friend in the mean time had an hour booking. My client came before hers and left after hers.... yet she earned 1 hour and I earned 30mins. Guess which one of us is behind on our mortgage? My guy now wants to take me out to dinner next time I'm in London and thinks he is in love. Mmmm.

Another guy on the London tour also booked me for 30mins. He said he'd been waiting for me to return to London since November - and he only booked 30mins and stayed for 1 hour. He then wanted a freebie overnighter when I had finished with my clients for the day.

How can I tactfully get ask someone to leave after 30mins, and not seem to be rushing them out? Presumably they only booked 30mins because that was all the time/money they could spare.

Would clients suddenly start saying I'm a clock watcher, if I make them aware it is time to leave when the 30mins are over? I'd hate to become a clock watcher, but I think it is the only way to go now.
It obviously impacted negatively on my business and my friend is worried that over time people will see me as better value than her. It seems to be a no win situation.

Any advice from a client's perspective would be great. Any girls with advice - please help!
    Thanks - Ann x
Clients who book 30 mins are booking a quickie appointment.
The ones who book 30 mins and stay longer are rude. They are piss takers. You will find this happens a lot in Ireland.
I used to be too soft and lalso let it happen. Not any more.
I consider a 30 min booking to be a quickie.
Toughen up lady or before you know it you will be working 12 hours a day and only being paid for 4

So long as you are paying for the extra time I don't see the escort would have a problem

But it's time and money well spent.

Good suggestions above. I'm sure saying you have a another punter on the way will quickly shift anyone slow coach who is taking advantage of your time.

Moving to hour long appointments sounds like a good idea too, although you would probably be the best gauge of this.

However, there will always be chancers who seek to abuse a lady's time, and at the end of the day I think you need to forget manners and move them along by whatever means necessary. Manners need to be reciprocated. And when a punter seeks to stay on without paying for the extra time that in itself is a gross abuse of manners.
It is unfair that you and other clients are paying for an hour whilst some cheeky fuckers are paying for 30 mins but stretching it into an hour and longer. Why should some pay full price and some not?

Hey Heather, I am at pains to try to demonstrate that I am not some sort of serial time-sponger spouting a manifesto but may I please make a couple of observations:

1 If a 30min appointment ended up rolling over to 40 minutes (due only to chat and a bit of human interaction, absolutely NOT any kind of sex then this surely is not a major problem?)

2 A punter paying for a 1 hour appointment may find, in the individual circumstance, that appointment too may run over 10 or 15 minutes, again merely with some chitchat. Hence there is no massively unfair bias against one group.

Basically I don't agree with being too dogmatic about small run-overs.

A punter sneakily or stubbornly refusing to leave an escorts premises is piss taking of the highest order. If it's at the expected time of the conclusion of the appointment and clear signals that the appointment is finished (the girl getting dressed, asking if you have far to drive, asking are you on the way back to work, offering you a shower, flatly stating "Sweetie, time is up.") then brother gear up and ship out without another word.

It depends greatly on the type of client that is booking the short appointment. If it is just for a quickie, then he should quickly respond to the 'would you like a shower' question.
However, if he is Intentionally staying on, them a more direct and no nonsense approach should be taken. You will be respected for it in the long term.

Free time should only be given to a 'regular', as a thank you, not to an individual trying to 'take advantage '.

I had that happen to me; I was told, "I don't know you, so you can only have half an hour - in case I don't like you!". I like one hour appointments but was told I could only have half an hour. This is a well reviewed lady but more pse than GFE and I had not started on the boards yet. It wasn't a great experience.
Retired from punting, yet still here?
