Its sad news, but like already mentioned not suprising, it didn't take her long to go off the rails. Unfortunately heroin is no judge of talent or youth.
Not sure how much influence Pete Doherty had on her drug abuse, more likely the arsehole of a boyfriend/husband she had.

ive grew up in a drug riddled society and it always seems that everyone else is to blame, people arnt forced to take drugs,
but im just glad that heroin was never introduced in the area i come from the way it was in other parts of ireland or im sure i would hav dabbled init :/........ the society wee grow up in, wee seem to think thats the norm n im sure many posters who wer around in the late 70's tried acid

She was a talented young woman but by heck she seemed hell bent on living down to some drug-taking stereotype. Not good to hear these things though, shows a terrible inability for that person to take on life which is kinda depressing to have to contemplate. Well said Queen Bee a shit day for news.
