That is a bad argument. One I feel is dependant on my being a woman and having a love for shoes. Let me put it this way. Which do you think I would prefer. Working for and trailing around a man who thinks his graduates are "stupid" picking out shoes I probably won't be able to afford as I'll be on a graduate wage aka peanuts. Or. Escorting. I'm not about to speculate on exact earning potential. But I will say two things hun. Firstly- some of you men seem to think escorts are rolling in it. Wipin our asses with 100 euro bills and bathing in Chanel No5. This is not theoretically true. Whilst we do make a decent wage when times are good our expenses are very high and so is tax.

Also money is not the most important thing to me. It comes second to freedom. The freedom to work hours that suit me, in places that suit me -when it suits me.

As for being sucessful in any walk of life. This is the walk of life I have chossen and this is me trying to be sucessful. There are ladies here that are very respected and established with a high amount of reviews and people singing their praises. Are you telling me because their proffesions aren't mainstreem they are not sucessful?!

Lazy gig. Hah. My job is a physical one that involves rather accrobatic moves at times, a high level of patience and a hell of a lot of answering phones. The only time I'm lazy is when I'm not bothered to work.

As for the genetically inferior and low IQ. I meet a fair few handsome men and a hell of a lot of intelligent men. In a lot of proffesions you hve to put up with people you aren't that fond off. In an office you might hate your boss. In a hairsalon you might not get on with your customers. No I don't like everyone that walks through my door but if they are polite enough and show levels of respect I will see them. Why? Because it is my job and it pays my bills.

Also- escorting can pretty much last as long as you want it to dear. Start at 18 finish at 80. It's all abut using intelligence and marketing yourself correctly.

I'm beginning to wonder if poor timekeeping (and just not turning up for appointments) is a national disese not limiting to the escorting industry.

In my work, people continually miss appointments and don't bother calling! Unless there is some monetary penalty, people just don't seem to care. So I think the problems of lack of punctuality and people not turning for appointments - that plagues all escorts, is part of a bigger cultural issue that we have here in Ireland .

To be a good escort, I think you are very far off the mark. Actually, in my view it takes a whole plethora of skills to excell at this work. The really top escorts must have the discipline , drive and intelligence to;

* keep themselves in top physical condition ( no mean feat !)
* look always beautiful and fresh with clients
* be able to make the effort to be in top and engaging form ( really difficult !)
* arrange all security requirments for their safety
* be able to have basic converstion in a number of languages , if they travel
* to have and to look as if you are enjoying sex multiple times a day ( very effin' difficult )
* excellent inter -personal skills
* ability to think on your feet with v.difficult and potentially dangerous clients
* broad minded and flexible enough to be able to entertain ' unusual ' client requests
* the stamina to work at unusual hours to the normal body clock
* the ability to organise and negotiate accomodation in a hostile environment and to plan tours

I could go on. Like every profession, some will be very good at what they do and others wont but I believe that for those ladies who are in the top levels of escorting,their work is anything but a 'lazy gig '.
