Shocked to read this morning about Tom Humphries relationship with a 14 year old girl.
For those who don't know him, he's a highly respected sports journalist with the Irish times newspaper.
Apparently he has attempted suicide since being found out by his daughter.
I know none of us are nominees for morally upstanding citizen of the year, but this is just incomprehensible to me.
I have sympathy for everyone affected by this and even to a lesser degree, Humphries himself who is clearly a very sick man.

He's the journo that scooped the Roy Keane, Saipan, drama back in 2002.
How the mighty have fallen. Shame on him.

And what about the poor 14 year old girl. How will she cope?
