nuts simple as this, two forms of humour, one to offend, the other to protect one self, self humour.
unless your black, Snigger /gollywog are both in the first, maybe,KKK might be a good name for the figure

Well yes it does. We 'Paddies' are well known for taking the piss out of ourselves and in this case it was a native black African doing the very same thing.

When he said it, yes. When you repeat it, no. Unless you're African, which I'm guessing you aren't.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

Total bullshit. Firstly there are many forms of humour so I suggest you get out there and find them and open your mind.
Secondly, Snigger is a verb in the English Oxford Dictionary, go look it up
Thirdly, those of us old enought to remember the 70's and before will know that the word Gollywog is a noun used to describe a type of doll. While you're looking up snigger you can look gollywog up as well. Also read Noddy goes to Toyland as there are references there to 'Gollywog' or would that book be too advanced for you?

Your reference to the KKK is dangerous ......

Like Lucy says .... there is nothing admirable about ignorance!
