No, I don't think Ireland would have been ready in 1995. However, right now every Tom, Dick and Harry of a politician is trying to cash in on the Gay vote, and are suddenly all very liberal and gay friendly it seems. I wonder if they'll stay that way after the election?

To answer my own question I think this advert was pretty risky, I know homosexuality was just legal at that stage (2-3 years I think) but it was still ten years before you wouldn't be automatically lynched in the street for being fabulous. I still know some people that get all bothered when they see something like this.
As for where I get this stuff, I don't limit my internet time to this site
