I didn't say you made anything up, I responded generally to the comment you made about E-I closing 'uncomfortable' threads. So what if the ban coincided with a comment made in a blog? The mods and the management deal with infractions and bans, so make of it what you will; I would advise that you be careful when it comes to making assumptions.

It may be reducded to a temp ban when managers look at it
But I thought that a perm ban was justified
