How about if we gather at noon on the north side of Parnell Sq on Saturday for an anti-anti-anti-anti gay parade.
At this late hour I'm not sure if we're for it or against it but chances are head will be available.
Who's in ?

(So long as its not violent) whats the problem with an Anti-gay parade, are gays the only people allowed free speech?
Should I want to stand in the middle of Dublin City telling people that I believe the moon is made of cheese well thats my free speech to do so. These 'hate crime laws' and 'human rights' are the biggest scourge of modern socity as they only seem to work one way.
Here is what happened in Belgrade, as described by Reuters:
That's not what I would call non-violent.In the worst violence in the Serbian capital in over two years, more than 110 police were injured in pitched battles with gangs of nationalists and skinheads, and one of the 1,500 marchers was badly beaten as he arrived home in a nearby suburb, police and officials said.
Pushed back from the parade area by 5,000 police in riot gear, protesters turned to other targets, breaking into the lobby of the state television network, scaling scaffolding to try to enter parliament, smashing windows at the Austrian embassy and burning a car in front of the French embassy.
Firefighters extinguished a blaze at the headquarters of the Democratic Party of President Boris Tadic and the premises of their coalition partner, the Socialist Party, were also attacked before calm was restored by early evening.
“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.
Of course not, but you go after the violent people not people who are anti-gay. This positive discrimination needs to end. How you lot in the Republic allowed the blasphemy laws in last year is beyond me - You can spout all the crap about a beardy man on a cloud and thats fine but dare to say its a fairy tale and face a 25k euro fine. What a joke.
If people want to protest about gay people doing our thing then they are entitled to do so, but they are not entitled to be violent whilst doing so, do we not have the 'human right' to be ourselves?
After all you want to stand in the middle of Dublin & say the moon is made of cheese, what if someone came along and assaulted you whilst doing so?, (which is a very high probability in some parts of town).
They would be infringing on your 'human right' to say that the moon is made of cheese...right?, and only a hater would hit you...right?

The should get EU membership. That in itself would make them less homophobic and transphobic over time. The reason they are protesting is because they are religious. The reason they are religious is because they are poor. When life is crap the hope of something better in the after life is pretty appealing. Once they join the EU and their economy improves they will have less need for religion, they will be more exposed to western foreign media and ideas. More of them will go to University and become more educated and have a higher chance of being atheist or agnostic. Ireland was pretty backward twenty five years ago. Now we civil unions and will soon have state recognised sex changes. It is no coincidence that this happened with our vastly improved economy.
The same will happen in Serbia. Apart from that, these people have a right to peacefully protest, even if their politics disgust me.

Good point BB, however Serbia to date has not handed over it's war criminals as required by the Hague international criminal courts.
Do you think they will change if we allow them EU membership? It would be like expecting a man to change once you have him down the isle, why should he? you have already bought 'as seen'....
