Whats the scariest movie you have ever seen?

Have seen Paranomal Activity and it was a good one, there were bits that did freak me out a tad, but not too much. I have never watched the original Omen, but saw the remake a while ago. Was ok.

One of the best i saw a few years ago was the Descent, when that came out it was a compeltely new type of horror. Loved it. Not seen the second one as yet.

There are very few that really get under my skin, horror wise, I do like to be challenged, so if anyone has any good films to reccomend, let me know, see if you can find one that will scare the bejejus out of VampireJackie

2nd Decsent isnt as good as the first one but it is good, we saw sessions 9 pretty freaky too.

I have seen the exorcist, but only in the last few years. I have spent some time watching some of the old classics, ReAnimator, and the Evil dead originals. I can see they were scary for the day, but just make me laugh how bad they are now.

True a lot of the oldies are laughable nowadays but in their time they would have been good. OK modern ones so you may have heard of, like the Happening

Yeah, but im not sure i would class the happening as a horror really, more of a thriller in my book. It was ok, but seen much better.

Resident Evil ones - love them
Shaun of the Dead - classic horror / comedy
28 days later / 28 weeks later - superb, 1st better than 2nd, but still good the 2nd
Love all the Saw films
