Only the big teams matter france, england etc matter to fifa. The only reason i can see that they are refusing video technology would mean that the bigger teams would not get away with some crazy decisions which in turn would mean that fifa would lose money as they depend on the larger teams to bring in the money.
I have lived a life of regrets.
ye are missing the point a little bit here..."goal line technology" wont spot a frog handle the ball twice so we would still be fucked, and blatter i think is saying they will look at GLT its lip service they wont change a thing and the sting will be gone out of the media frenzy by the time they announce that.
Unfortunatly your right Benny. If goal line technology was going to come into effect it would have done so at USA 94 Bulgaria vs Romainia. I think Romania scored an off the crossbar and in and out but ref failed to spot it and Romanina were nout. Small bit of hype surrounding that game but nothing was done
Sepp Blatter is an example of one man's colossal ego getting in the way of good judgement, Simon Cowell is another.
They constantly defy the opinion of everyone and revel in the limelight of being the 'one to decide'.
Thankfully most see through their pitiful smallness and give them no attention. Lets do the same.
Tonight it will be partly cloudy with temperatures in the mid to late teens.
Yeah, we are, if FIFA wants the American market-how much can it make if Americans were to watch matches as faithfully as the other leagues viewers? ESPN's commentators kept on bringing up how the American team was short changed and how a lack of technology might be one of the reason why Americans aren't too interested in televised Soccer matches.
