To those commenting on my previous post, as above.
Sorry Lads, all I can say is that is indeed the case.
I’m not trying to say I’ve seen huge numbers of escorts but I always said I would only submit a bad review as an aid to others who use the site. But in general all of my experiences have been enjoyable. Granted if I had posted reviews of them we would not be in this situation now.
Likewise I never registered as I had previously no intention of submitting any reviews and I am generally not someone who gets involved in online chats & threads. I’m not sure who said it, I’m sure someone knows, but isn’t there a ‘law’ named after someone that says the number of people involved in an online discussion decreases the time until someone calls someone else a fascist, at which time the discussion degenerates into insults. Not saying I’ve seen anything like this on this site, I just wanted to explain that I generally don’t contribute to these sort of discussions, maybe it’s just my own character, maybe an age thing I don’t know but everyone seems to have gotten on quite well without me.
All I really wanted to do was submit a positive review of an escort with whom I had a great time, thats all, I’m sorry if I’ve caused any problems and hope that any future alterations to the review system allow first time reviewers like myself to post an honest review and eliminate all the spammers and fakes, thanks.
We would love to hear your reviews of other escorts even if it is just to comment on the authenticity of the photos/profile and the attitude of the girl. We would love to accommodate first time reviewers but we have a problem in that most of them are autobiographical. How do you think that we might resolve the problem when members like yourself only come on here to leave one glowing review of one escort.
Fair point, i have to admit.
My biggest fear would be that the site becomes in essence a private club with only reviews from long time users being considered.
I would like to see some facility for first time reviewers, maybe they could be marked with a different colour to differentiate them, not necessarily question them outright, just let other users know that it’s by a ‘first timer’ (virgin isn’t really the appropriate word for this site, is it), they could then make up their own minds and if more reviews are submitted by that user they become ‘accepted’
I don’t envy the site designers trying to come up with a practical solution to all this but I do hope they come up with one.
Thanks.
Fact is its hobsons choice.
A more robust criteria to deal with the fake first timers will unavoidably mean that real first timers will get thrown out with the vast bulk of fake ones.
The fact that some of you are seen as trusted means that at some point you had to have placed a first review and if site had a more stringent and very hard to get passed system in place when they did so they might have never got to the point of being trusted.
Like I said before, it comes down to common sense. Even I have a few people who I have faith in what they say so its down to anyone who is interested in avoiding bad escorts to work out whose word they trust more then others.
This was also a point I have made to another moderator. He had to also at some point place his first blog and review. Humble start.
I remember writing my first review back in 08. I was totally new to the game and was very nervous meeting my first Escort. I remember mixed feelings of both relief and excitement but also a sense of achievement that I actually went through with it. I plucked up the courage to review on my third Escort I think. In those days first time reviewers were not subject to suspicion as they are today. I wonder at the risk of being ratted on my maiden voyage for showing understandable over enthusiasm that I would be ratted would I have bothered to review at all. I now find my reviews are slowing down because I have found enough favourites to keep me going without the need to try newer girls and risk disappointment. I think we should tone down the suspicion and give the newer guys a chance. I accept the problems surrounding fakes but surely with the new system of numbering the reviews on the reviews screens we can all disregard as we see fit. Let’s wait and see if these new guys review again before we judge. Remember we were all there once.
Leave it up to each individual member.
Let us decide whose reviews we can block/allow on our own settings and drop all this 'rat' and 'note from mod' stuff.
If nothing else it might stop alot of the rows and save the staff some unnecessary work. I reckon I can decide for myself who to trust or not.
All that's happening now is the thing gets more and more convoluted. At the end of the day it's up to each individual to decide who to trust.
Experience and intuition - can't beat them!
Personally, I no longer really try to identify fake reviews. I try to identify reviews I can trust. Those are the ones from reviewers who have seen some of the same escorts I have, and who have had similar opinions about them. The other reviews could be classified as fake, different taste, unknown, etc. But why bother? So I don't really care which first time reviews get ratted, as I am generally ignoring them anyway. A better use of resources might be identifying repeat offenders. Someone with 20 fake reviews is much more of a problem than 20 people each with one fake review.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.
