I was reading an extremely interesting thread in the legal section this week. Really has me thinking.

Is the scope of the law changing in respect to clients and prosecutions. My understanding before was that any successful DPP prosecution was reliant on an admission on the part of the client. The client essentially hanging themselves out to dry.

Recently, reading that thread, and from messages I have gotten from 2 different people, it seems the approach is different now. It's no longer trying to get the punter to slip up on their words, coerce them into a confession. All 3 scenarios I've heard of recently, it has been straight taking of details and informing of potential prosecution/summons, on the basis that being in a house/apartment used by a live escort advert is sufficient to at least be grounds for a summons.

Before people say the risk of getting stopped is minimal and reduced if you choose right. I know this. I've been punting long enough to know the do's and dont's. Its just interesting to read and hear about this seemingly new approach.

Just a thought. Unlikely to hinder my punting however

Where i have visited recently was a ground floor with entry straight from the street and only occupant was escort or escorts so if stopped I had no excuse , other than companionship " for being in that building . Places I visited previously were in apartment complexes . It would be far more difficult for the cops to pin me down after exiting the complex . One of my concerns is that the cops might put pressure on the Lady . The law can be pretty ruthless sometimes . If some of these Ladies would register as Acupuncturists it would legitimise the visit and would could put the bill against our tax
