I'm not sure I have "A" song, but I most definitely have a default genre: late '80s through the '90s pop-punk (specifically songs about girls/love). Though my earlier influences were the "oldies" of the '50s and '60s. Even then I was still drawn to the "love" songs (I guess I've always romanticize unrequited love and heartbreak / melancholy...).
