Eurovision and Our “Misinterpreted Youth”!

Everyone’s loosing their mind because we are sending a goth to the Eurovision. We once sent DUSTIN THE TURKEY people, I like Dustin, But that time I thought it was mortifying, we are supposed to be the land of arts and scholars, right?! This is just another form of Art. Plus, back in my day the goths were the cool ones, Everything comes full circle!

People my own age giving out about this years Eurovision entry are quick to forget that they were the very ones through our teenage years wearing Nirvana hoodies, black eyeliner and crying about their parents not understanding them.

Didnt our own parents do the same to to the Beatles or to Jimi Hendrix or to whoever?

The only thing I’m old-fashioned with and sticking my heels in the mud about is I’m not conforming to this non-binary stuff, at least not until they come up with a Verb to describe a non binary person, This person is a she to me so I have been referring to her as she, I just can’t bring myself to refer to her as “them” because to me, “ them” is two people or more, My understanding of the use of English language will just not conform to the requirements of non-binary people!!!

My initial reaction was 'this is dire' but now I think it's a good contender the freak show that Eurovision now is. It could do well! I don't know what some take the whole thing so seriously 😆
