I'm talking about the girls. I may have wildly misunderstood the reputation system though! It appears to me that people can give negative reputation to anyone without rhyme or reason, allowing anyone to give negative reputation to escorts who post on the forums, and if they have multiple accounts, to do so multiple times. Surely a negative reputation hurts their careers? Again, what do I know! Would it not be better to just let the Mods do banning when necessary, and not allow indiscriminate trolling from anonymous posters? Who wants drama on a site that's already at times quite toxic? I would have thought anything to lower the toxicity level would be appreciated, because what girl would want to post on the forum if she can be given a bad reputation for every post she makes?

Abuses of the reputation system result in bans. Getting rid of the reputation system would do nothing to stop online trolling of advertisers. The reputation system is used to modify punter behaviour on the forums, it is not a threat to the careers of advertisers. The best way to deal with trolls is to troll them mercilessly

I don't know the ins and out of things at all but...

Wasn't there an episode a couple of years ago where a guy was following one of the ladies around the boards? (I won't name her, she can let herself be known if she likes)

Most of us didn't know what was going on really, just saw the back and forths as banter, clash of personalities, and possibly that one of them was being a bit too upright.

Then, it went a little beyond that and he mentioned at least once that he was going to go see her while she made it clear that he wasn't to. I don't know how seriously she took those posts, how it affected her working or anything else happening in the background but she did seem uncomfortable.

If read the posts correctly, many months later, it came out that he had in fact gone to see her.

If I've got that right, and I don't know because I didn't enquire, it must have been very frightening. Even if nothing happened but he turned around and left, for that few minutes she had a clearly deranged man in her house. That would have an effect on anyone. And that going on while most of us were thinking it was just the lols, myself included.

I could be wrong and he didn't call to her but that's what I picked up from her posts, and if it did happen then she sat on it for a long time :/

I was involved in a similar event, threats to visit even though made clear they were v v not welcome , the threat alone is damaging , v damaging I have seen the harm first hand . I am not here much just now but if I see it starting , being copied will hammer it even if I get banned , Steph has been subject to this twice , so if either Ass hole is back they needs dealing with .Those were bad times

So long as the person themselves was a victim they should be able to victimize others.

Could all be sorted by removing the anonymity from the neg rep, I’ve no problem calling bullshit where I see it, in fact I’d rather my handle was attached to be honest, guys hiding in the shadows and pressing the button is the issue ��
