    Love ■ SASS ■ Seasonal ■ Antifestive ■ Safe ■ Space ■

    Hello.

I would like to propose a new unlisted seasonal favourite for all providers to implement as a way to support punters suffering from trauma connected to the end-of-year festivities, or plain dislike. "Sass" (seasonal antifestive safe space) means making sure there will be no mention of the celebrations to create a safe space, sheltering from what's quite hard to avoid at this time of the year wherever we go. We are meant to act like it's any other time of the year. It's a guarantee for no festive decorations, and moodlights can also be turned off.

    Whatcha think?

    Chime in.

Don't wait to get confident. Just do it, and eventually the confidence will follow.

Haha, I love the idea. Sometimes the overstated merriment is a bit too much and it would be a nice break from the constant commercialism.
Just one question though. What if someone wanted just a jacket and a string of white lights (JUST a jacket and string of white lights )

    Love

The point is that it's not just a "nice break". I want to be a place where you feel healed, a form of therapy, which is even more important during these difficult times when everyone is shoving down the same thing our throat whenever the calendar justifies it.

Sounds like a great idea. I don't celebrate Christmas, so it would suit me just fine!

    This is a great idea.
I love Christmas and all the festivities but for a lot of people it's not a happy time of the year and can be a tough time to get through.
Having a safe space to escape too and get away from all the festive hype could be great for them, well done Dieve

I really like this, Christmas can be very intense and it's hard to get away from the constant "cheer"

I agree that emotional feelings are squared at this time of year with most people determined to be full of joy and sadly a few are exactly the opposite, luckily my lifestyle is so hectically busy that Christmas kind of happens and is fun, but I do feel sorry for people feel it overwhelming.
Along comes Dieve, thinking outside the wrapping paper. You propose to offer a space with zero festive clutter and the resulting void filled with.... you.
You seem to have an attentive approach to your work Dieve, the very best ladies offer a tailored service that isn't a well practiced script, you seem to be one of them.
Good thinking miss, I'm sure you'll have a bright future in marketing if you decide to change profession.

I think its a very thoughtful, considerate and inclusive idea. Some people just don't care about the festivities, for others if they don't have a partner to be with, the festive decorations is just a reminder of their loneliness and trigger depression. So, having a SASS would cater to a diverse group of people with different needs, who just want to get away from it all.

I'm absolutely certain that the Xmas nonsense would be the very last thing on your mind in Dieve's presence.
