Turned it off. No interest in listening to Mary Lou use this tragedy to advance her political agenda.
It was her party that called for the gates to be opened for every tom, dick and harry.
Sinn Fein done the same up North for votes.
For years Sinn Fein Martin Miller backed a Roma criminal gang in the Holylands area of belfast.
When it was exposed on BBC Spotlight he had to leave the party.

As soon as they left the Green Party where in like a shot.
    Its all about votes.
Political parties only care about the middle and upper class.

incredibly disingenuous point. there were only 72 babies registered with the name muhammed (of 29,401 total births) in the country in 2022. the popularity of muhammed by ranking in a specific locality can be accounted for just by sample variance alongside the wider spread of names selected for kids of different backgrounds. misrepresenting data to fit an agenda, especially one provided from a conspiracy theorist's youtube channel, is an awful look

    You agree with this?
Haven't read the Bill to be honest, so I guess they don't have that power unless they get a warrant before a Judge? Is that the case? If it helps build a case against a Racist scumbag yes.

You are advocating for something you don't know about or have researched?

The government gets to decide what is hate, what happens if a far right government gets into power? A very real scenario as you are seeing a hard push right across not only Europe but the world with right leaning governments being voted in. They can deem LGBT or Islam as hateful against Christians and any posts made in support of them will carry a jail sentence. Are you still ok with that? The law doesn't stop just because you don't agree with it then.

If you have netflix on your phone, Dave chappelle is on their platform, many consider his shows as hateful. You are found with this on your device and it's deemed hateful, should you go to jail, you didn't publish it or share it but it is on you device and is offensive to someone, you need to go to jail.

Before you say that wouldn't happen I'd advise you to look into how vague this bill is in its wording and the power it gives the government to shut down any form of dissent.

I'm fine with it, thanks. We need far far stronger Hate Laws. Plenty of checks and balances in the system and it will be subject to the Constitution and the ECHR. I know people differ in views, no problem there, I've given mine instead of sitting on the fence!
