2010 was very cold, I was lucky enough to thaw my frozen pipes without any burst pipes.

But the snow in 1982 was crazy, roads closed all over the place with snow drifts.

Beemer says '47 was even worse !

1982 was massive, 2010 was big yeah but nothing like ‘82 then we had “the Mother of the Monster of all snow storms” ffs ”the beast from the east” in 2018
It was way more severe than any of the previous. (in my memory)

5 to 6 feet snowdrifts in Dublin. The OPW Closed all the national parks for 2 weeks. that never happened before.

The incident with the JCB smashing its way into the Lidl in Tallaght and looting all the drink and tobacco… The essentials haha

Oh and let’s not forget the bread shortage… oh the trauma… the panic!! The Memes and the vids were gas…

Houl on a wee minute Tony B.

Ah, I'm slow on the uptake about 74.I was wondering about such a specific date.

But you can't remember 82 ? Sure you must have been wearing big boy trousers at that stage?

I had forgotten 82, bought my first house in Dublin in 82.

I remember walking by a wall that was usually taller than me, and in the snow the wall had only about 6 inches showing

    You bought your first....wtf !

Sure I thought your post about May 74 was the day you were born !

So unless you bought your first house before you were 8 then there's something very wrong with my calculations.

82 ? Christ I am old and even I was still at school in 82 !

What fuckin age are you ?

And you wonder why your Mojo has gone ?

Maybe like Beemer your first punt was only 2 and sixpence ?
