On a more serious note , well sort of . I am v liberal accept all sexual groups gay bi etc , however this them stuff and where it is going is just too much , school children not referred to as he or she but them !!!!! Fuck that , if a person wants to identify as he or she why should that be denied ? by a tiny tiny minority who want to identify in another way , like seriously now

So much noise for so few , are there trans people ? of course and yes let them have dignity accordingly but to suggest all must be gender/sex neutral , nope no nada .

You refer to people as they/them all the time. Everyone does. But some people have a problem doing it when they are asked to do so.

I work with a lot of people remotely, from countries and with names where it is not immediately apparent what gender someone is likely to be, and you naturally use they/then until you know.

they/them is a way to refer to groups
him/her is the way i refer to individuals
