Thats it, its a blue blue day in manchester. I thought utd gave it as good a shot as possible but its very hard keep city quite for 90 or 100 mins.

So as expected liverpools lead over city is down to one point. 63/62 with 11 games left. The countdown to next sunday has started already. What a battle that will be.

Ya i'd say that sums it up well. Roy says utd should have closed foden down better for his first goal. And who'd argue with anyone from cork, lol.

Sheffield utd v arsenal tonight. Every game that arsenal play recently seems to be a must win game and tonight is no different. But anything apart from an arsenal win would be a huge surprise and also a disaster for the gunners. In their 6 pl games this year arsenal have scored 25 goals, the blades have scored 22 all season. And in their last 2 home pl games the blades have lost 5-0 to villa and brighton. Could lightning strike 3 times at the same ground?

Paul tierney wont be allowed to referee any pl game next weekend after his mistake in the forest liverpool game. He should have given the ball back to forest after konates head injury but he gave it to liverpool. However he will be the var official for the arsenal brentford game.

I am sure it was a genuine mistake ( not that I think Barney will be happy) but it is such a silly mistake to make that it is hard to understand. I am sure Liverpool will point to the mistake made with their goal against spurs been disallowed. Forest and Wolves seem to have a few strange decisions go against them. With the money involved with relegation or places in the league it is easy to understand clubs fustration.

Arteta names an unchanged team from the newcastle game. Also partey, jesus and vieira are back in the squad. I'd say the blades will try to sit deep and try to frustrate arsenal. If the gunners get an early goal it could be a comfortable night but if they dont then it could be a nervy night. I'll go for 3-1 to arsenal.

Saka hits the bar in the first min and then the rebound is cleared almost off the line.
