Thread: Funny surprises in Dublin!!

  1. Angry Funny surprises in Dublin!!

G'day everyone! Bit of a lurker and a paranoid newbie punter, with some questions regarding protection and preventing a 'funny' health surprise after having heard from a buddy of mine that things may not be as safe as I think.

    1. Generally speaking, how safe/unsafe are escorting services in Ireland compared to other countries in regards to transmission?

    2. Does the average escort here in Ireland take precautionary measures other than your good ol' rubber to protect against transmittable ailments? e.g. PrEP, PEP and the sort.

    3. How safe is owo & FK!? Absolutely scares me off from an otherwise lovely lady every time I see it as part of the offered services!!

Please help!! I always hear the most biased answers from a few lads either telling me it's safer than a fluffy kitten or that it's a hellscape to be avoided...

: depends on Your behavior . Practice Safe Sex .

    2. Does the average escort here in Ireland take precautionary measures other than your good ol' rubber to protect against transmittable ailments? e.g. PrEP, PEP and the sort.
: good ole rubber will protect you from most transmissibles .

: taking PreExposureProphilactic ( PrEP ) - imo only people who intend to and Do engage in

unprotected Penetrative sex would take it . Do you really want to visit There ?

: PEP : Post Exposure Prophilactic is taken in case of condom failure or rape .

    3. How safe is owo & FK!? Absolutely scares me off from an otherwise lovely lady every time I see it as part of the offered services!!
If You yourself are using protection ( ie. Covered oral ) , you Are protected . Owo has very low risk for

hiv transmission ( never been recorded ) ; it IS a risk for HPV , HSV , and for the bacterial STIs .

    Facts ^^^ .

Also fact , I offer and relish owo , never had anything / but also I am vaccinated for HPV , HepB HepA , etc.

Anecdotal evidence : ask other guys here how they’ve fared over the years with owo .

    If you’re worried about kissing , then Don’t .

Please help!! I always hear the most biased answers from a few lads either telling me it's safer than a fluffy kitten or that it's a hellscape to be avoided...
I’d say responsible established independent escorts would be paying a very close attention to their health .

For us there’s a Life beyond escorting , and our health is our wealth .
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

Rely on yourself. Get your own PreP and HEP vaccines (and HPV & Monkeypox if so inclined). Pop down to the Gay Men’s Health Service (GMHS), Meath Primary Care Centre, Heytesbury St, Dublin 8, D08 HX97, and tell them you have unprotected sex with other men, trans, sex workers, and a lad gave you €80 three months ago for sex. Tick all the box’s for whatever they have to offer (funding trickles down from most at risk groups to least). You haven’t had unprotected sex in the last three months because you want to get tested before getting back out there but you’re rearing to go. You have had plenty of unprotected sex in the last 6 months. Then, ask them all of your questions, such as, how easy is it for me to contract herpes from a sex worker? What do I look out for? What happens if I get Syphilis?

Personally, I think all clients should all be on PrEP if your renal tests allow it, for many many reasons.

Is it? I kinda liked the idea of you in the gay clinic saying you’d been bummed for €80 😅 Which would be good going if one could get it, the doc would be thinking, she’s heard worse.

I don’t weigh up the chances of anyone having anything, I just assume that you’re all riddled and act accordingly. I have kids and I don’t trust them for a second not to use my razor or toothbrush. And, with the best of intentions, I don’t trust that any of you hasn’t rimmed someone who could have been stealthed a month previous. And if any of you aren’t on PrEP, what are any of you doing when a condom breaks, slips off, of if she/you has been stealthed?

Like, if you’re not taking PrEP as a client, you’re trusting that your escort is taking 3 months off work every time a condom breaks, slips off, or is stealthed. And, trusting that she doesn’t have a boyfriend or two who doesn’t sleep around with other people. (And, if applicable, you’re trusting that your kids won’t pick up your razor or toothbrush. ) Also, there may be no recorded case of HIV transmission through covered oral (is there?) but there is expected cases via OWO, and idc how fractional the chances are, one little pill saves all of that worry. I trust two people taking PrEP and not using condoms over two not taking PrEP and wearing a condom perfectly, all day long.

Condoms are 98% effective at preventing pregnancy if used perfectly, real feel is 87% effective because 13 in 100 of pregnant women report condoms as their form of protection, or whatever, this is not about pregnancy, that is completely unrelated - condoms are 90% effective for males against HIV (94% for females), whereas, PrEP is 99%. One little tablet, for free, and is literally easier than wearing a condom.

And, I don’t say any of that as someone who’s afraid of a person with HIV who knows they have HIV. They’re no worry at all because they know what they’re up to, they’ll be taking their own meds (if not, they’d die), and they can’t transmit HIV if their viral load is insignificant.
