I think it was Oscar Wilde who said, 'the truth is rarely pure and never simple'. So no matter the subject, nothing can ever really be discussed in a few lines (hence the essay). That's a huge problem I have with all these advocates of 'cancel culture, whether it's to do with gender or not. If you want to get a full understanding of something, you have to consider all sides to it; not just the parts you pick and choose that fits your narrative.

The question of what is a man/woman doesn't have a definitive answer anymore, the world is a changing, but I'd probably define people by birth cert and genitalia.

Trans people that only part transition, like get a boob job but keep their male genitalia, I'd let them define themselves, but they are still men to me.

Transvestite men who wear women's clothes and wigs. To me they are men, carrying a handbag doesn't make a woman.
