I think stress, such as poverty, kids, over worked, illness etc, doesn’t help relationships.

But a strong relationship will withstand anything.

I've been watching the American strain of this play out for a few years now.
The conservatives as they are wont are very much into the notion that everybody gets married and that sorts out a big proportion of the societal issues.
But they also don't want to help couples get married in any tangible financial sense and are then perplexed as to why people with fuck all money are so reticent to fall into the marriage trap.

Last year at this same time I started hear sporadic noises up there in the middle of the night.
Stopped after a few weeks.
Started to hear them again on Wednesday night this week and the thought of sitting in bed listening to that shit again made my blood boil so I stormed up into the attic ... drunk.

I know nothing about politics, and I’m fine with that, I’ll leave it to those that have an interest.

I got married because we were going out for 10 years, so we might as well. Nothing to do with politics.
