Coming back from my first day at school after the holidays.
At home the news was on live. I walked in the door watching the second plane crash. The comment at home was: It's a terrorist attack.
I don't think I was aware of how that moment would change history, but I was aware of how tragic, disconcerting and painful it was.

21 Years today ..
Do people even care about it anymore ?
Has the World moved on ?
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.
I was on the way back to work after lunch when it happened. It was surreal, everybody clinging to the radio

I was going to the bank from work.

I had just come home from a round of golf. Housemate heard it on the radio. Sky news went on and I think we just sat for the whole day watching it unfold. Can remember it like it was yesterday

Was sitting in a classroom and the teacher told us, wheeled in a TV and we sat in silence while watching the reports
I was working in Dublin when a news report on the radio said a plane had crashed into the World Trade Centre.
A colleague straight away knew the seriousness of it.
I didn't even know that this was the Twin Towers and had assumed a light aircraft had accidentally crashed.
But when I seen the TV pictures I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
The hairs on my neck still stand watching the footage.
