Where were you on 9 / 11 when those planes flew into WTC + ?
Did you happen to see it ?
Do you remember ?

I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

The weather in November is never great, so I like to get a week or two some where with a little more sun
So I was probably in the Canary Islands, its lovely that time of year
On a chair, changing a downlighter in the kitchen when heard about the first plane on sky news, went into the living room to see in on the tv and then saw the second plane hit.
Had stayed in the hotel in the World Trade Centre a few years previously. Bored one evening went down to the shop in the receptionists area and bought the number one best seller on the New York best seller list that week a book called Executive Orders. I dont normally read fiction, this book was a Japanese Airilne pilot taking off from Washington who killed his co pilot and flew his plane into the White House, put it down after a few pages as thought it was very far fetched! Shows what I know

I was in work and I heard about it on the radio . No such thing as smart phones back then so I didn't see the full horror of what happened until I got home that evening and turned on sky news .
We have two lives , the second begins when we realise we only have one .....
I was at school when the 1st plane hit
McClean Ave in Yonkers. Heading for work. Crazy, surreal, scary time.

Just can't get my head around the fact that it's been 20 years already.
I was heading in to get vaccinations for a holiday to Brazil when reports were coming in of a plane hitting a building in NY. By the time I had come out there were 3 planes down and utter destruction.
Still feels like watching scenes from a film every time I see those planes hit the towers. This year was the first year that I watched any programmes about it. Over the last week I watched a 6 part National Geographic documentary called 9/11 One Day in America. Speaking to survivors with a different story for each episode and using footage from the day that hadn't been seen before. It was very good but hard viewing at the same time.
My cousin was on the 82nd floor of one of the towers and sadly didn't make it out. Rest in Peace Mary Yolanda Dowling and everyone we lost that day ❤
