well there has not been a pandemic for 4 years, if the stats were the number of convictions or arrests for during the lockdowns that would be a different matter altogether.

As regards the risks of visiting an escort now and been arrested i would imagine are no higher than normal, you would more likely just be issued with a fine for braking restrictions on the basis that is far easier to prove and less hassle for the Gardai.

What the chances of that happening are very hard to know.

So the fact that the garda are now questioning you as to the purpose of your movements at this time should be seen as no more of a risk seems somewhat irrational. But then again as you rightly said its hard to know. You might be less likely to be killed by a falling tree, its your choice. You either accept what the consequences may be and live in a forest and say fuck you trees with a hard hat on or hide inside and never go near the road just incase.I still think if against all odds you did find yourself having to justify your actions to the authorities or your family i would start licking windows.
    Civility costs you nothing.

IF you are questioned by a Garda as to your movements, that is what you are been questioned for, not for visiting an escort. To that particular Garda, he or she only wants to know have you good grounds for been more than 5km from your home. Only an idiot would try justify breaking the regulations by saying they were visiting an escort, their lover, their friends for a party. Such persons are likely to get a fixed penalty notice similar to a speeding ticket and once paid in the time frame noone will be any the wiser.

Incidentally I am not advocating people breaking the regulations but merely pointing out that anyone caught by the Gardai going to or coming from an Escorts property are more likely to get a covid fine than anything else.

What has being prosecuted and a spice burger got in common?

    You won't get either,
if you keep your mouth shut!

so enlighten us on the circumstances, did he plead guilty or what evidence did the Gardai give to get a conviction?

I've only had sex with a spice burger three or four times but the escort is definitely better in my experience.

Any stats on particular areas? I know at least one area where someone was stopped and it’s completely put me off visiting there
