In Ireland the law in relation to publishing a photo of someone else (taken by yourself) without their permission is vague. You see it all the time, Celebrities coming out of restaurants, Criminals outside of court etc. What is an offence is to publish a photo of someone which was taken by a third party. The offence is against the 'taker' of the photo, as they hold copyright and not the 'subject'.Originally Posted by annabel taylor

Posting a naked picture of anyone without there consent is illegal. Not sure how people are encouraging this. Consent is important.
I was referring to photos in general,.... What about topless Lady Di in the Mirror/Sun years ago. Can't remember if they got away with that or if they were sued.

I have a picture up in my bedroom of all my girlfriends just above the bed, they give them to me and latest has big knockers, I can rest easy knowing the relief I get from them, you got very impressive knockers too

Yes but the problem for them is that if they make a big deal out of it then everyone will find out about it and look at it.
Imagine if a celebrity had a sex tape on a site like pornhub and then they take the person who uploaded it to court to get it removed. Everyone will hear about it and then go to the site and look at it and download it when they wouldn't have known about it if there wasn't a big deal made out of it.
For example, if someone here was upset at something here and reported it to the moderators on the forums, everyone would look at it before the moderator deletes it whereas most people would never have found out about it if it wasn't mentioned.
Its sort of like trolling; if you do nothing and do not acknowledge, it will stop.
I once saw some kids burning a politician's election poster in a pile of wood in their back garden and the politician posted it on their facebook page and caused a whole discussion whereas no one would have found out about it otherwise.
Everyone is a tad touchy these days. It's obviously a piss take. Poster just threw it out there and must be amused at the reaction. Do people not realise that most posts like this one is just a total wind up. He probably hasn't even got a girlfriend never mind one with boobs
