An Interview With... Curvy Nina!
Hi guys, well it is that time again in which we interview one of Ireland's most popular advertisers.
I have managed to make some time to interview one of the lovely E-I Advertisers, getting to know them more on a personal level and learn more about their experiences.
Nina, thank you for taking your time to do the interview with me
I just hope that everybody reading will enjoy the questions that I have asked and I hope you enjoy Nina's answers.
Floki: When did you first arrive to Ireland and what was your first thought of the country?
Nina: I arrived in Ireland about six years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday.
It was a windy, rainy day, super cold outside(go figure) and my first thought was ‘damn I could make it work’.
Fast forward six years later and I’m feeling straight at home her. Best decision that I could ever take.
Floki: Is there any special place you would recommend foreigners to visit in Ireland?
Nina: The nature of my job allows me to travel a lot, which is a big plus for me as I love discovering new places, meeting new people etc.
If I were to choose one place out of all the places in Ireland that I have visited, well, I’d most definitely go for Galway.
Galway is a very vibrant city, people are so relaxed down there and they make you feel like you belong.
Plus in the summer time there’s plenty of things to do there. Nightclubs, restaurants, beaches you name it.
Floki: Having the chance to work in different countries, which has been your favourite?
Nina: I have travelled far and wide around Europe and the UK, but I have to say I’m always drawn back to Ireland no matter what.
As I said I feel right at home here and for someone who lives from a suitcase it’s important to have a place they could consider home. I cannot stress that enough.
Floki: How come you decided trying escorting as your main job?
Nina: I think the main factor was that I grew up not having much. When you have limited job possibilities or underpaid job offers you want to make the most of it while you can.
Nowadays I have other activities aside from escorting, but when I started it was my main job. It doesn’t mean I’m afraid to try something else or that being an escort is an easy job. It isn’t.
You have to deal with people on a daily basis and that is by far the most difficult job ever. The way you talk and your presentation is very important.
Floki: Has advertising online always been your way of getting to know clients? Do you think there is any other safe way for you girls to make your appointments?
Nina: Yes, I always advertised online. Whether it was EI or Twitter I always used online advertising.
I believe that when you clearly write your likes and dislikes and what you do or don’t do it doesn’t leave any room for interpretation.
I have worked in places where you met people face to face but that differs from country to country. I don’t think there is a safe or unsafe way of meeting people.
It all comes down to being a good judge of character when you have an appointment.
As I said before escorting is not an easy job, before you start you should take into consideration all the risks that this job implies, you will make mistakes in the beginning until you find your own rhythm and you will find your screening methods to distinguish genuine clients from timewasters.
Floki: If you had not entered the world of escorting, what kind of work would you have been doing or would have enjoyed to doing?
Nina: Most definitely not a 9-5 job. I hate being confined in one space and I love my freedom.
Something that has to do with art and beauty. Either photography or beautician.
Floki: Do you remember your first encounter and how did it go?
Nina: Of course I do, I think it’s kinda hard for anyone to forget that. It was in Longford, I had no idea what I was doing and how things would go, I was so bad I didn’t even know when to put a condom on or what needs to be done, how you have to start an appointment or how to end it.
Luckily for me he was very sweet and funny and we laughed it off. I think he made me feel more relaxed about it when it was my job to do so.
Floki: What has to be the more memorable gift you have ever received from a punter?
Nina: I don’t pay too much attention on gifts, although I appreciate and keep them all. I think the most memorable one out of all was a handmade one I received at the end of our appointment.
The fact he had gone through all the trouble of crafting it from scratch was probably the sweetest thing I have ever seen in my life and still even to this day very much appreciated.
Floki: What has been the strangest request that you've been asked to do and did you complete the request?
Nina: The strangest request I have ever received is rather personal, but to answer your question, yes I have. As long as I am comfortable with someone or a request I have no problem doing it.
