There IS a ‘formula’ for happiness, or at least an end to suffering, it’s called Buddhism. Well it’s by far the nearest thing I’ve seen or known of that’s evidence based practical & real. All this craving sensual pleasure here is anathema to that of course & ultimately one of the key causes of suffering (craving ‘sense desire’) but I’m an incredibly flawed human being & often can’t help myself. The reason I’m here at all. Just speaking for myself of course. But The Dharma (teachings of the Buddha) is literally the closet thing I’ve ever seen in this life as a guide to ‘happiness’ for lack of a better word. Check it out...

True happiness indeed ,the road to Nirvana.
Some of this self-mummification claptrap may once have happened in the Himalaya region also.

Find new stuff to do. The daily routine is where the rot starts most likely.

I think me and you could be free spirit's. But maybe people that go through their whole lives looking for something, but not sure what they are ever looking for.

I received an invitation to a wedding in the post today, the last thing I want to do is go to a wedding, I might take a couple of escorts with me, that would certainly give them something to gossip about
We have two lives , the second begins when we realise we only have one .....

I just don't think that people who have never been married should be giving advice on marriage... seems a bit arrogant for them to think they know what's going on?
