Boxer Michael Conlan came out last night to 'Celtic Symphony' by The Wolfe Tones, which has the aforementioned chorus.
Now it is safe to say he is getting annihilated on Twitter today....
What are tour views? Should he be coming out to that?

Yes, coming out as in ring entrance music. Hundreds of Conlan fans singing 'ooh ahh, up the Ra' (A reference to the IRA)
Huge accusations that this is maybe not good for national cohesion!
What i will say is that boxing has brought the nation together, even in its darkest times. Barry and Wayne Mac from either side of the fence but become heroes. Hell, even Eamonn Magee wasn't so overt...he just wore tricolour stuff!

Michael is a nice guy but smart not his strong point, Wayne was a nice guy and great ambassador for the sport but Barry Mcguigan who i meet several times is a twit.
You have to give credit to the likes of Katie taylor, she knows how to do it properly
I don't believe a word of it,
Next thing you'll be telling me is that Mary Lou was strolling down 5th Avenue with a "Brits out of Ireland Banner"
I never knew Michael Conlan was gay but that's his own business
To be fair, as stated by a previous poster, hes not the sharpest tool in the box. I didn't see this on any main stream media by the way.

But to answer your question, no, he shouldn't be coming out with any of that garbage.

Here we go again..........
Are we there yet ?
Don’t know what is wrong with the 2 songs that were played before he entered the ring ? Grace was the 1st one and as a Celtic supporter paradise was the 2nd one . I see all the Orangies out on social media today horrified but it’s a change for the rest of us listening to them playing their flutes and banging their drums in triumphalism Every July.
