    If you want to know if something is illegal in any part of Ireland just use this simple rule of thumb;

    Ask yourself, "Do I enjoy doing this?"
    If the answer is "YES" then you can be sure some bugger has made it illegal.

    I stick to good reviews of ladies and are staying in Ireland for a long time, they know how to be discrete as it's their livelihood.
    Practically nobody has been prosecuted, or very few. Odds of being prosecuted seem to be too low to even worry about. Of course, good idea to be cautious but concern about visiting escorts is very low on my list of worries.

    no need to be as the cops here at least will give you time to dress first before escorting you out

    Kind of weird that it's legal to sell but illegal to buy. A bit like the government telling you to open up a shop but nobody can buy anything from your store. Either make it fully legal or illegal.

    Thats just a token gesture to try and appease sex workers/womans rights groups
    and have something to point to when politicians are called out by them

    "No,No! We're not oppressing u or taking away your right to choose what to do
    with your own body! Look! We made it legal to sell sex!"

    While trying their best to make escort work disappear by cutting off their revenue stream

    Which has been highly successful since its implementation about 1.5 years now......

    I'm sorry, I can't say that with a straight face. It has made FUCK ALL difference which is exactly what that anti crowd and her royal highness, the then justice minster Frances Fitzgerald, were told. The World Health Organisation, Amnesty International and other organisations all spoke out against the law but old Fitzcunt didn't give a damn about them, she didn't give a damn about the sex workers who spoke out against this law, instead listening only to the views of religious bigots.

    I'm blue in the face from saying this, but this law was never about helping victims of human trafficking, it was never about helping sex workers in general. All it ever was, was a vendetta against the whole idea of paid sex orchestrated by a bunch of dinosaurs who refuse to come out from living in the Dark Ages.

    If you're not part of the solution you're part of the problem, and that is exactly what all of them are because they refuse to differentiate consensual sex work from human trafficking. That distinction has got to be made in order to start actually dealing with the plague that is human trafficking, as well as making it safer for those working as sex workers of their own free will.
