German Federal Constitutional Court to Hear Case Against Its New Anti Sex Work Laws
A case against the prohibitive anti sex work laws introduced in Germany last JUne will be heard in August by its Federal Constitutional Court!
These new laws included controversially a condom use obligation for all penetrative sex or a client could face a fine of up to €50K and the sex club would be sanctioned and this included BJs and registrations for sex workers!
The covered BJ law which was described by a senior police officer as implementable as trying to stop people pissing in a swimming pool, has not really been observed but has led to massive price increases for this extra service (it used to be common place as free within the price) and registration has led to many non EU Ladies leaving the industry!
The writer of the article is a bit vague on who is taking the case, almost certainly a sex workers' rights organization, I gather also not from the article, a few nutter radickal Fems want a say, suggesting the new law is weak and lust after complete criminalization of punters (where have we heard that before?).

A row back of this in parts daft law would be great as a potentially turning point for even more insane laws related to the industry elsewhere to be thrown out! However once anti sex worker and anti sex work laws are enacted, they are very difficult to overturn!
