Default Do Escorts actually use sex work lingo?

I was reading an abolitionist article earlier (nothing interesting, the usual pearl clutching puritanism you'd expect from those types), anyway, the author was, I assume, trying to be edgy by writing about "hookers" "turning tricks" with their "johns" and other cliche terms. I was wondering, do escorts actually talk like that? I did ask one escort once but she said that she didn't really know many other escorts so, even though she never uses terms like that, others might. Popped into my head there.

Sounds like a typical journalist stuck in the 80's with that type of wording? There is a question though, what do "advertisers" prefer to be referred as. In my view whores, hookers etc is low grade and not a very nice way. Do they prefer, ladies, escorts, courtesans etc. Personally dont like the term sex worker but worth raising the question.

Thought you could be some sort of journalist or researcher with the constant questions you began with.

    Maybe you're working undercover!

(call yourself John and use the word hooker a lot-you'll blend right in).

I certainly prefer being under the covers, but don't like to use the old term wording. Still very young at heart.

I’ve never heard an escort call a client a John lol. Some do say hookers and punters which is slightly more acceptable but escort and client is much nicer sounding to my ears anyway. We have appointments, we might do magic tricks with your interested bits but no, this isn’t usual terminology I’ve heard others using.

Journalists and their vast knowledge eh
He felt her hands slide slowly up his thigh, he couldn't stop himself from growing hard. She caught his eye and in that second he knew: This erotic, sensual Lady is bold if she is anything. She would be upto mischief in no time...

Sometimes my clients call themselves John. Although I don’t prefer that term. I’m more into the term rendezvous or encounter than anything sexually associated. Makes everything so much easier and takes a lot of the pressure when it comes to first timers xo

I always tell the lady I want to make an appointment with her or have a meeting. Even better if she treats it like a naughty business meeting but with a mutually satisfying conclusion to the negotiations. Short skirt, blouse with buttons, stockings, no panties, even no bra and glasses on top of her hair as the finishing touch.
