Assuming Sanchez, Alves & Mendy goes to City, Arsenal sign Lacazette but probably lose Bellerin and the Ox too, Chelsea spend nearly 200m on three players (Bakayoko, Lukaku & Sandro) that barely improve their starting XI and we bring in Morata, Perisic and Matic then the league is heading back to Manchester, one way or the another. City's gung-ho approach won't win them the league and stereotypical Mourinho signings in his second season makes me think that it's going to the red half.
Spurs will stagnate this season without investment and Liverpool blowing their budget on Keita and VVD won't do much.
Another highly entertaining "anyone can beat anyone" season in the PL but in the UCL, I'd predict early last 16 exits for all 5, unfortunately.
I agree. A big ask for a PL team to win the UCL this season.
4 points for Burnley in their first 2 away matches can't be bad.
3 points from Chelsea and now 1 from Spurs, goal being scored by the record signing, Woods.
Man utd are looking strong, but still only early days
Sophie, Do you still think so?
