of course Connolly should appeal - he'll miss the bulk of the season if he doesnt and he doesnt have many seasons left

Mayo and Derry go to extra time. Maybe this isn't gonna be Mayo's year yet again?

    Tipperary V Dublin
    Tipperary to win

    Waterford V Kilkenny
Kilkenny spluttering along. Richie Hogan anonymous for the last 2 matches. Mark TJ Reid and cut down on frees and they will struggle.
Waterford will never get a chance a better chance to beat their neighbours. Taking their chances when created under the McGrath system will be vital.
Waterford to win if they do what I said earlier.

    Clare V Cork
Cork hot favourites after their last 2 matches. Coleman a real find in the half back line. Lehane, Cadogan and Horgan now assisting Harnedy who was a 1 man foward line for a while there.
Clare have an issue at centre back. He is well able to catch the sliothar but distribution is poor and is slow in terms of speed. If they get into their stride then they are 1 of the best teams.
I am cautiously optimistic for Clare to win their first Munster title in 19 years.

Expect to see the full house announcement at the Clare V Mayo match on Saturday. Welcome to all the Mayo people.

Have Kilkenny ever been knocked out this early since the GAA introduced the qualifiers?
