    very sad, people who risk their own lives to help others are great people, heros and never get the proper recognition they deserve.

    This is an awful tragedy and I'm saddened by how unaffected people seem to be about it. Those helicopters are up and down the West coast all the time doing all sorts of missions.
    It seems their work is taken for granted and that of all the other first line responders too.
    Four families bereaved and at least six kids have lost a parent.

    Dreadful, dreadful news . Such brave, unselfish people. Real life heros , unlike the Kim Kardashian types of this world who many seem to celebrate.

    I think they were trying to land at the wrong lighthouse. They thought they were approaching Blacksod Lighthouse when in reality they were at Black Rock lighthouse.
