A new bill if passed can be sent to the president immediately to be made law. And if the majority agrees in the house this will be the case. But again who knows. It could get sent back to committee for further investigation or recommendations which would delay it.

Wishful thinking. The bill has exhausted all committee stages and is ready to be signed into law as soon as it passes the final vote this week. There is no opposition to it and will pass this final stage.

Was not aware of the info in relation to the committee stages happening already. So yes the final vote is this week from what you say and there is no opposition to it also then it's just a matter of time.

It's very suspicious that a few days after her judicial review is announced the government here pushes the law ahead in a vote. It was always the case that there had to be cross border co operation by both sides having the law in place both North and South to police it properly. Now they have going by what seems to be happening.
