How does a guy on the dole for 7 years have €12000 for a car? Not to mention fuel, tax and insurance.
Does nobody join the dots in this so called government of ours?
That is a common story across the country
The top civil servants don,t give a shite as they are retiring on the fat pensions
The more cash that flows through the welfare system the better for them as their big fat pension won,t stick out as much
See the method in their madness

It's not fair to make it the responsibility of retailers.
We have enough to do without free policing of the welfare state.

I've had several cleaners leave over the past few years. Flexible hours and €420 per week.
Ok so they won't get rich but how much can I realistically afford to pay a cleaner.
It's always the same they become useless after a year and then leave. Or if they have a second child they are gone immediately.
Always the same more money from the dole.

They do. And I agree, it's in their interest to do so. However, the scenario of the state pursuing a welfare claiming escort raises some very specific ethical and moral questions that are not being addressed in this thread.

Don't want to depress you but soon you may have to pay a sugar tax because that second kid is overweight

If it discourages food producers from shoving extra sugar into everything they call food just so they can hide the lack of real flavour then I say the government should go for it.

And then there are genuine people.
    I know a disabled guy on I think €188 a week.
Out of this he has to pay his ex wife €50 for a child who happens to be working and earning 3 times what he is.

That leaves him with €138 each week to live.
My dinner last night cost more than that.
How do you live on that?

Several of these tour and have good reviews and doing well charging €200 for the hour,
One I spoke too and who I was helping with forms etc told me a pack of lies, its amazing how the lies flow so smoothly from their mouths.
They didn’t recognise me but its ripping off the system and I cant say very much as visit they girls and their friends.
When you add the benefits they are claiming its huge and along with their escorting job its staggering. Its more common than people realise, They are all at it
I resent the general title of your thread.

There are 15 Irish escorts active now, from a minumim 600 escorts. Let's assume half are not even working, so that's 30 escorts.
How many of those are you fully aware of claiming benefits and such ? 2, 3, 5, 10 ? Let's assume all (which is not at all true as I know many Irish escorts that don't claim aything). That's a mere 5% of the overall escorts and this percent is grossly overestimated to include as well a few non natives that maybe are doing the same.

That's my first point, don't paint with the same brush. Simply don't. That's what scandal journalists are good for.

Secondly, did it occured to you that the ladies here are finding it hard "to be in the system" ? How are they ever going to pay hospital fees as they don't appear anywhere as having an income? How are they ever going to justify to friends and community that they can afford to put food on the table and have a yearly holiday? Not everybody is lucky to have found a job that allows sufficient time off to do some escorting on the side.

Far away from me to say that claiming benefits when the person has an income it's a good thing. But the whole system here is flawed beyond limits and some people have to adapt. Some of us register for a fictive business. Which helps with lodging money into accounts and buying property if need it. But for the natives, it may be a more difficult to pretend such a thing as more likely their families will be nosy simply by trying to help.

    Tax the producers at source.
I feel only kids from low income family's will be affected.
Parents need to take ownership of their kids diets too.
