Are you fucking serious with this shit? Larry Murphy raped and would probably have killed that woman only he was caught. He is also the main suspect in a number of girls who went missing and were never found. He is and always be a danger to ALL women including escorts and everyone should be aware of his presence.

I agree with you on the mob rule vigilante thing and people who are innocent have found themselves victim to this. However, It does not negate that knowledge is power and in this case it was meant to protect sex workers in Cork who would have a higher risk factor than most with someone like this.

I know with regards to paedophiles it is easier to believe they are all evil people and need to be put down, but the majority of them never offend and know it is wrong, therefore do not act on their feelings. It is not something you are born wanting to be, but for some that is the way they were made. There are good and bad people in all areas of life and some don't have any self control. These are the ones that need protecting from and for some prison is the only answer, but it is wrong to take the law into your own hands unless someone has their hands on your child (or any child) and then you are free to act as you see fit to protect that child. Too many people prefer to ignore the signs, so being aware is half the battle.

Sex workers are among the most vulnerable of lone workers and if there is information out there that could keep us from meeting a complete psychopath with no regard for human life, we should, as common sense suggests share that information and inform each other.

It's nothing to do with a lynch mob, this is about our safety. Something with joe00 is seemingly overlooking. As someone else said, they are not the ones opening the door to strangers. We are.
