I've been on other forums before and the only way to solve this is to be more heavy handed with trolls especially to protect regular members. Bans , bans and more bans usually decreases this type of crap...

I'm not making any critique towards the mods here or how things are done; we are relatively new and not experienced enough in the forums to say what is or isn't working. I will however respond to your specific comment, from the point of view I had from being a moderator of a debate group of over 10,000 members. Maintaining control is critical for being a successful mod and very often mods are forced to make honest judgement calls. Most groups have multiple mods and each person has their own points of view on what is or isn't allowable. But we all had an agreement that if someone dealt out a punishment, the other mods would respect that punishment. More to the point, bannings were absolutely necessary, and it was often enough that they were permanent bans. You want to avoid being seen as "ban-hammer heavy", but at the same time if it looks like Lord of the Flies because mods don't want to get into the mix and moderate, then the forum becomes a shitshow.

Again, not critiquing anyone here. Just my two cents

I know what he is talking about, but thankfully this type of prearranged attack seems to be rare enough these days. But on occasions if I see an attack on a poster I know, brining up the same accusations that we all have seen before and know are ridiculous, the same crew suddenly appear as if out of nowhere to join in... So,I already posted about ending out this old fase of me posting but maybe people thought I was jocking (I was actually thinking about this for the past few days).
So due to how much this forum has changed and also I don't like the moderation that is going around especially when it comes to few users lol ,I have decided that is best to move on for my own sake
Yes,I will still be around if anyone wants to pm me but I won't be bothered by the community itself.
I don't like it where is going folks ,not at all
Besides I should really start and focus on my books and study more than being around here and reading stuff that bothers me and sometimes makes me feel less of a woman or escort .
We all are intitled of having our own opinions and express them and I have always encouraged this but some things that are allowed to be said in here ,is just that I do not want to be a part of it and I still want to think that we still have some common sense and know when to give up.

I am already on and off in my work and things will really come to an end eventually so I better focus on that and enjoy the time that I have left.
