The second leg of the Championship playoff semi final between West Brom and Aston Villa is on tonight with Villa 2-1 up from the first leg. I will go for a 1-1 draw which would see Villa through to the Wembley final in a few weeks time.

This semi final has gone to extra time after West Brom found the net in the first half to make the score 2-2 on aggregate. However the Baggies are down to 10 men so they are really up against it now.

Villa win 4-3 on penalties so are through to the playoff final for the second year in a row.

Leeds play Derby tonight in the second leg of their Championship playoff semi final. Leeds are 1-0 up from the first leg and have beaten the Rams 3 times already this season. I will take them to make that 4 out of 4 and will go for a 2-0 scoreline to see them through to the Wembley final.

I am hoping for a Derby vs Villa final and see either teams in the prem for the next season (possibly Derby), but from the stats and previous match, Leeds looked to be in the final play off final against Villa.
If this is the case, then I would like to see Villa to take the promotion.

The Bundesliga title race is still alive on the final day. Dortmund must beat Gladbach away and hope Bayern lose to Frankfurt. In all honesty, Dortmund threw this title away having several 4+point leads during the season and also Bayern getting such a low points tally. Looks like Bayern will pull further clear over the next few years if no other team can break the 80 point barrier, which is far from impossible for a few sides

It ends 4-2 to Derby,4-3 on aggregate. Leeds will be crestfallen both because of this result and also the fact that they really should have got automatic promotion a few weeks ago but bottled their chance. Anyway it will be a Villa - Derby final on Monday week and a reunion of Rams manager Frank Lampard with his old Chelsea and England teammate John Terry who is on the Villa coaching team. Hopefully that will be a good match.
