Maybe she was Spanish and not "Spanish".

I see some profiles that mention they don't see people that are the same nationality or even race as themselves.

You think a Spanish guy called an escort whose nationality listed is Spanish but she really is genuinely Spanish and refused to see him because ......he's Spanish .....classic I hope that's what actually happened.
