So it would appear that escorts working in pairs would be sitting ducks for the new legislation - in that they can be prosecuted as well as the clients- gives the guards more ammunition to get one of the parties to blab to avoid a conviction!
    Seek and you shall find!

In answer to your question I have been doing research for a while now into working under the Swedish model, which included working under it in Norway and Sweden for a very short time and then networking with people who currently live and work with it. As I'm a qualified masseuse I shall be offering a massage service, for which I'm insured and certified. But that's by the by, the reason for my post is to clarify you comment is it every man for themselves...I'm afraid if arrested or charged it will be every man for himself. I can refuse to be called as a witness and any statement I give would be about our professional massage transaction...however you will say will be entirely up to you and indeed, you will probably be told I've already said you were buying sex. When under pressure people can and do slip up. If you make the decision to punt make it a researched and discreet escort and you will eliminate most issues right there.

Other than that this is an open board and I can't really comment further, my clients do need discretion, and yes, I fully expect to lose a portion of them when the law comes in, sadly. Luckily I've been around a long time. There is little point comparing buying sex to buying drugs for example, normal people, the ones I see day in day out, don't buy drugs. It's going to be a challenge, and I love challenges
I agree that a direct correlation is not possible and not helpful.
How the process of criminalization will affect the sex industry will be quite distinct to that of illicit drug$.
However, normalizing either of these activities is certainly not a part of policy.

I'm glad that somebody's putting some thought into it. While it does make life considerably harder the problems aren't insurmountable. I think more thought and planning will have to go into meetings and almost certainly in my case there will be fewer meetings. There is no shortage of means of communication these days and with a small effort people should be able to have appointments without leaving a trail of evidence. Don't get arrested in the first place and you won't have to appear in court.
