I have read through this thread and to be honest I certainly would not feel good if a gent called me and asked me for a social rate of say my rates were 150 to go down to 50 that I see as a no go area.

I do not deny the fact that there are social rates and I think that is reflected in the dinner date rate.
In most countries I have worked there is an allowance for social rates at discretion of both parties but the general rule of a social date would normally be that the two people already know one another and get on with one another etc.

I have been to social events and been paid my asked rates for these and a general trend would be for longer appointments I mean weekends or weeks for rates to be more negotiable however at the same time these rates would need to be of mutual benefit not taking advantage seeking a greater discour than the escort is prepared to offer as this will only ruin the friendship.

I have no problem with what other service providers do( I prefer this word). To me part of the attraction to escorting is the glamour it involves which in threads like these one can see is dissapearing. It saddens me to see this why are there always price threads the ladies all charge what they want and even if you have many many price threads this will not change what individuals charge.

Regards prostitution sure we all accept compensation for our time and companionship and whatever goes with it but seriously now I prefer to be called a service provider escort etc prostitute has such an ugly stigma involved with it and does sound vulgar when a guy says it. In fact I have met very very few people who called me a prostitute and when they did I have found that they were saying it in a degrading sense where they didn't respect me but saw that stigma. So while I don't deny it I don't like the stigma attached to it and the other implications either.

If you want to do whatever makes you happy I believe you should do that whatever it is you are in pursuit of. I just think that we should understand why someone would be offended by the social rate proposed. Maybe a thread would have been better asking about a social rate and not including prices.

I do not think I'm better than anyone on here never have but for me escorting is about glamour much like the choice of a hilton hotel or a travel lodge if you choose to visit an escort that more than anything should be apparent and not just things like price.

We all know that the vast majority of meetings with escorts here result in full or partial sexual contact.

But a few don't and my question for all clients here is -- would you be willing to pay (at a much reduced rate) for the genuine time and companionship of the ladies here if sexual contact wasn't available? By this I mean going for a meal, a date to the theatre or cinema, a companion for a social gathering, a day out or just some quality social time in private?

Remember that many of the ladies here are intelligent, attractive and witty and would be great company.

Maybe we could all try to get back on topic and, for those actually interested in the subject matter,

As I have said before, there is a 'social time' rate that I was made aware of a few years ago, and it was lower
than what is generally advertised on sites like E-I, but I would imagine escorts would only discuss their specific
rate privately, and with clients they may already know, and would be comfortable in knowing that they would
respect the boundaries of that type of service.

I am not one for haggling on price, always paid the advertised rate, and usually for a minimum of 1 hr,
but quite often 2hrs, and would only broach the subject of a 'social time' rate with someone that I was

but was in no way short of 'regular' appointments either. We agreed a rate, and a minimum number of hours,
and had some wonderful days out at the cinema, opera, meals, drives in the countryside etc.

As I also said previously, it's not for everyone, but let's live and let live, and stop all the negativity and rudeness.
