yeah i watched that,I just never thought Brazil with the endless stream of talent would one day sink to that level,It's unfortunate the current crop of players are so poor,Neymar is good, and from all accounts a really down to earth guy,how good is he? hard to tell,at club level e is in Messi's shadow. not sure what Argentina will do,i don't expect them to win the tournament though, they rely to heavily on Messi,he is the best player in the world but one man can only do so much.

Germany are probably favourites now as they seem on paper to have the easier Semi,Home advantage, the backing of a football mad nation, and obviously the backing of the ref in every game might just give a very poor Brazil a chance.

Holland were poor against Mexico, but the heat and humidity were a factor,we will know how good they are after today.

For football a Holland v Germany final would be great, obviously for local intrest Brazil v Argentina would be better, but if that was the final i would fear for Messi without the protection of the ref.

I have to agree with the comments about this Brazilian squad. I don't think I have ever seen such a cynical group of Brazilian players. They are a pale shadow of the great Brazilian players of the past. Like Argentina in 1990 or Holland in 2010 who used similar tactics they may reach the Final but I sincerely hope the Germans(who are not a great team themselves)beat them in the semi final.

This BRA Team is a young team they don't have any experience playing in the world cup they are good players but Felipe Scolari makes than a great time

I see Eamon Dunphy stated on RTE last night that he expects Belgium to beat Argentina today. We will see but Argentina apart from Messi are an ordinary squad. Can he carry them all the way to lift the World Cup like Maradona did in 1986? Its possible.

One thing anyway, this world cup has ended the who is best Ronaldo or Messi debate, both had equally poor squads.

Yes but I would still maintain that Ronaldo was only half fit for this tournament. If he had been 100 per cent I think Portugal would at least have gotten out of their group and maybe reached the quarter finals.

Full time Argentina 1 Belgium 0 . Argentina just did enough to make it to semis.

I agree. I think Holland will cruise to a win. The quarters so far have been tight and havent included much good football. Hopefully the semis will come to life
