By the way, you should never machine wash (decent) lingerie....

Ah my corsets are ok for the machine if you put them on 'delicate' but they are not meant to be machine washed. I put the bra in by mistake with my other washing. Still you would think with the modern washing machine, it would have lived to tell the tale, but it did not.

Hand wash only.... some things, are just too delicate....

Have you ever tried to hand wash a steel boned corset? This is one of the things that I wasn't happy about with AG. The corsets have plastic bones, which are so cheap! They also don't have a proper sizing system. I asked to look at their suspender belts when I went in and they showed me a drawer full of them and they were all labelled the same size, but I noticed a full 2 inches differences between some of them in length. I asked them how they worked out their sizes and she said that they are all manufactured by different places and they decided on by the manufacturer, so God knows who they are using.

So... they may be delicate, but I'm not so sure on the quality. I got the impression you were buying into the brand and not the quality (not you personally by the way, but people generally).

Dry cleaners usually look after my stuff, i haven't worn a corset for a booking in about 2 years, i prefer basques and lace bra's etc...

Work clothes do not get dirty as street ones would, I do not understand this wash machine thing..

Won't say how I take care of my stuff because I am afraid others will start doing the same and is terrible feeling to be copied all the time

My faves are Myla and Agent Provocateur... There's a lovely shop in Paris too, forget the name, got a few bits from there last time i visited....


i'm a 34g according to bra fitters in Brown Thomas... i could never put that on my profile though, scary....

Susan Hunter -- 32G .. ridiculous my size . : Fab one-of-a-kind lingerie , set about 250-400 . (you know where it is)

Myla -- 32F .. very limited selection in our size imo , but nice stuff .

And a great little shop in Las Palmas , hidden away on a side street ! Best find ever ! So far ! x


But I have a heartrending complaint : my fave style is Balconette , but they don't make it in our more busty size !! *cry*

They have this notion that if you have a larger breast size , only full coverage bra will suffice ..

Well , that just ain't the case !

I am always just SO thrilled when I find a store / manufacturer that caters to us in the sexy fashion styles @ a high quality x

Or else I have to get creative on the sizes lol .

Even if it stays on only for a short while --> when you sit down to a meal , does it not taste better on proper china ?
