So I have a grand total of one friend - thanks Palabra

Was just wondering what the protocol is for a relative newbie like myself asking people who have amused me in a post or excited me in a pic to be my friend.

I suppose also been wondering why the masses are not barraging me with friend request as a result of my witty engagement with the boards.

I hate the self-loathing internet friend gathering produces

At this moment I have 56 Friend Requests vying for my attention.

: I like to respond individually to each request (after having done a bit of background checking ) , and so it is inevitable

that I should fall behind in my correspondence.

Also , there are certain highly valued gents (highly valued by me ) whose requests I will not accept just for the simple reason ,

that certain ladies have taken to bombarding my reviewers and 'Friends' with unsolicited VisitorMessages and touting PMs.

But most of the 56 I will get to , once I'm back on the Emerald Isle xx

    Friends are nice .
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

If you want to follow someones posts but cant remember who they are (begs the question are they really that important or interesting? ) then just add them as a contact (so click add as friend as normal but untick the box to "also ad as friend" )

then once done, go to settings / up there ^ then friends and contacts and thats where you find your contacts you have added
    saves everyone embarrassment
